Crefius

The construction of the brand-new Crefius office in Roeselare is part of the larger Bel-Ford project, strategically located between the train station and the vibrant city center.

The interior of the Crefius office was designed by Matadi Architects. Their vision for a warm, functional, and aesthetically pleasing workspace came to life with the help of TecnoWood® system walls. These partitions, known for their warm appearance, provide the necessary partitioning for each space and office. However, the client had a unique request: they wanted the glass to be divided both horizontally and vertically, using the same bamboo profiles to ensure a uniform and natural look. This presented a technical challenge, but the project was successfully completed.

The bamboo profiles not only contribute to an aesthetically appealing whole but also provide a sustainable solution. The accompanying framed doors, also made from bamboo, complete the design and ensure seamless integration, fitting together like a perfectly matched puzzle.

The Bel-Ford project itself is a mix of three residential apartment buildings and an office building surrounding a green courtyard. Designed by CAAN Architecten, this concept creates a tranquil and green living environment in the heart of the city. The green courtyard connects the buildings and contributes to a spacious and relaxed atmosphere, significantly enhancing the work and living experience for the building’s occupants. Immediate access to the shopping streets of downtown Roeselare further enhances its appeal.
